Not sure what to say?

I met Fr Reinbold when I was 16 and volunteered at a ccd program for Developmentally disabled in St Joseph's. Then he officiated my wedding in 1983. He renewed my wedding vows at HNH in 1993. He then baptized both my children in Peekskill in 1994 & 1997. We kept in touch through the years but unfortunately lost touch in the last 4. I am gutted that I was not aware of his passing. Rest in Peace Fr. Reinbold

When I first went to St.Joseph's school in 1960 and all thru elementary school knew Fr Reinbold. All the kids liked him . After I married he and I exchanged Christmas cards. LmIn much later years we'd write letters back and forth once a month. He ALWAYS answered my letters. He even commented in my Grandkids pictures I sent him. So except for a lull if about 15 years , he and I kept in touch. It stayed that way until about 3 weeks before he died up there in Peekskill,N Y. I learned from...

He was a great man. He was the sponsor of our city basketball team, Reinbold's Angels

He was a great guy. I was a teenager in West New York when father Reinbold put together a car club for the youth in WNY. The club was called the “Roadrunners” and attracted a large number of teens. His guidance kept us out of trouble and gave us spiritual direction. I would love to assemble a gathering in his honor of former members. Alas, over the years, we have all lost contact.

To the Family of Rev. Reinbold: Charles will be remembered at a special memorial mass celebrated in a Catholic Extension mission parish.
Catholic Extension remains most grateful for the Reverend's support of its mission. Catholic Extension works in solidarity with people in America's poorest regions to build up vibrant and transformative Catholic faith communities.

Sister Paul Gabriel introduced me to Father Reinbold. I was a student of sr Gabriel back in the 60’s. I kept up a close friendship with her and came to loving Fr Reinbold’s Sunday mass at the convent. When I was experiencing a very difficult period in my life caring for my elderly mother, it was both Sr Gabriel and Fr Reinbold who filled me with such peace and encouragement. I shall never forget. And every Christmas I would receive a Christmas card with a greeting from Fr Reinbold even...

I went to St. Joseph's Grammer school in the 1960's. For the preteens and teens I remember how in the latter 60's he had in the lower church, "The folk Mass " on Sundays ,we teens called it "the teenage mass.".
When I went to HNH school of Nursing, in the 1990's Fr Reinbold was Chaplain. All through the years we kept in touch via letters. Especially moreso the past 5 + years. I kept every card and letter of correspondence. They are now priceless to me. He was my Spiritual...

Fr Reinbold you meant so much to our family. You were friends with my husband Joe from when he was a teenager and you married us 55 years ago and Baptized our 5 children. we enjoyed all our talks and visits. we will miss you RIP. carol And Joe

I attended St. Joseph's HS (class of 1963). I don't know if Fr. Reinbold was formally considered to have a youth ministry, but he certainly functioned in that role. I fondly recall him being available to students, offering guidance and support and and caring. He did extras like bringing groups of students to Tedesco's for pizza after a night basketball game and making sure everyone was delivered home rather than being on the street at night. I have often thought of these experiences and...
