I have so many wonderful memories and learned so much from Coach Rhoades. I graduated from Mt Vernon in 1995. I was on the yearbook staff in 1994/1995 and we dedicated the yearbook to him (he was the favorite and it was a unanimous decision). His example of strong faith, hard work and compassion are lessons that I have taken with me through my life. He will be missed but what a joyous time he is having in heaven!
