Charles Richardson

I really miss working with Dr. Richardson and I still am taking care of his former patients that share memories of this great physician. Rest in Heaven Dr. Richardson.

My child, Amber CarLeigh, was caught in a problem when the gastroenterologist for children moved from Baylor to Childrens'. She had always been a patient at Baylor. She became very ill and placed in the hospital at Children's. She continued to decline. Dr. Wasserman and Dr. Richardson helped us move to Baylor. Worked as secretary to Dr. Richardson at the Dallas VA, from 1984 to 1990. Great boss, highly respected and skilled Gastroenterologist. His patients adored him. He was instrumental in helping me and my sisters coordinate GI surgery for my elderly Mother in 1998 at Baylor. I flew to Dallas from my home in Seattle and he came by my Mother's room at Baylor to check in on her and visit with me. It was a nice reunion. I was a patient of Dr. Richardson for many many years. He was the most caring doctor I have ever had. If he knew anything about your family history of cancer etc. He would immediately have me seen by the appropriate doctors. My heart breaks to hear of his passing. I live about two hours from Dallas and was wanting to make an appointment to see him again and this is how I learned of his passing. He always took so much time with you on your appointments. Just found out Charlie passed. He was the best and sweetest doc ever!!! Loved him!! I worked at Bsylor for many years on 4J. RIP my sweet doc!

Charles Richardson was a superb physician and an endearing friend. Twila - Curtis and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family.
