Not sure what to say?

Hi i am Eleanora Ritter Varela his grandaughter i only had nine years to be with him but i only remembered six years with him one of then was me holding hands with him and walking to the football games as you can see in the picture below

I enjoyed Chuck company when he came into the Washtenaw Dairy to read the newspapers.
I appreciated his political views and his passion for truth.
He'd smile when he saw the humor in life and it made my day.
Chuck will be missed. My condolences to you, Ulla.

I knew Chuck early on through the schools, later around town, and, of course, The Dairy...he succeeded me as the WCC math teacher at Maxey Boys, and, as had I, found it to be a wonderful teaching experience...he was a great teacher, coach, friend, and he will be missed in all the familiar places...please let us all know time and place for the memorial service...attendance required!...

To Coach Ritter's family,
My sincere condolences to you all. Coach Ritter was a genuinely decent man, a fine coach, a mentor, a friend, and a long time fan of Pioneer Football. I last saw him at a football luncheon in 2018, at which he was appropriately honored. That was a memorable day, and I am glad that I had the chance to speak with him and remind him of the profound influence that he had on my life. RIP, Coach.
