LUZERNE — Charles "Chuck" Robison, 75, of Luzerne, born March 2, 1932, in Detroit, to the late Charles and Louise (DuPuis) Robison, joined his wife, Annabelle (McMahan) Robison in eternal life on March 2, 2007.
Chuck and Annabelle were married Feb. 7, 1951, in Birmingham. The couple later moved to Madison Heights, where they raised seven children. After his loving wife passed away in 1994, Chuck moved to Empire, where he had family and made many new friends.
Chuck retired from General Motors Gear and Axle after 32 years of service, where he served as a UAW committee man.
He was a member of the Eagles Club in Madison Heights and a founding member of The Eagles Club in Empire. Chuck was also a member of The Mio Moose Lodge and was a Mason with The Shriners.
Chuck spent his final years in Luzerne, where his children have summer homes.
He enjoyed wildlife, family barbecues and taking care of his dogs.
Surviving are his daughters, Cathy Bliss (Ben Stiltner) of Punta Gorda, Fla., Sherrie Robison (Jan Dunn) of Mio, Becky (Michael) Marchese of Madison Heights, Georgia (David) Rocheleau of Ferndale, Anna (David) Wendels of Maple City and Laura (R. Michael) Wendels of Empire; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special caregiver, Debra Gross and her daughter, Alexie; sisters, Joyce Robison and Norma Brozowski; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Sue Spicer; and his "heaven sent" neighbor and friends, Doug and Mary Heeg.
He was preceded in death by wife, Annabelle; son, Randy; grandsons, Jason Thompson and Christopher Baize; and sons-in-law, Danny Plunkett and James Bliss.
Visitation will be today, March 4, from 2 to 9 p.m., at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio. Funeral services will be Monday, March 5, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home, with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating. Interment and graveside services will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in Empire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, 335 E. Houghton Ave., West Branch, MI 48661; or Susan G. Komen for The Cure (Breast Cancer), 5055 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas TX 75244.
Arrangements are by the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.

I'm so sorry about Great Grandpa Robison. He will be missed. Evan and I recieved the message just last night. Had I known earlier, I would have attended the funeral. I will always remember the cookies in the microwave when Great Grandma Annabelle was around. I think I may have fallen down their stairs at one point...I was always so excited when we got to visit their house and all those cookies sure got me going.

Sorry about Grandpa Robison. Sorry we couldnt make it.. Call Britt and Evan Please.....We didnt get the mesage till late. And We dont have the cell numbers . Hope you all are doing fine..if there is a service in the spring for him please let us know and they can make a trip up there .

We were very sad to hear that Uncle Chuck passed away. He was part of my life for many years since growing up with his children and we will miss him dearly. We will keep the family in our thoughts and prayers. Sorry I was unable to attend his service in Mio but I will be there in the spring for grave yard services.
