Mary Beth,
I am so sorry for your loss I have known Charlie for many years and he was one of the most enjoyable people I have known I again am sorry Charlie has passed My heart goes out to you in this time and in the future I consider charlie one of the only few friends I had

I only knew Charlie from my visits to Parker Rd. Drug store, but he was always so pleasant and friendly. He made my visits to the pharmacy an enjoyable experience. I loved seeing his smile. He will be sorely missed.

Erik, I am thinking of you, and i am so sorry for your loss! love, Ms. amy Brooke

Mary Beth and Erik,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we pray the Lord keep you in His comforting arms in this time of grief.

Mr. Rolfe, Mary Beth, Erik - no words are adequate now. I’m overwhelmed by memories, many the same as I read here from Al, Wilbur, Teddy, Joey, and I feel so privileged to have them. Through the grade school years, Moultrie High, Carolina, and after, what I remember most when I think of Charles is laughter and adventure. Hangin’ out at Choppy’s, road trips to Florida, camping in NC, The Stones, the infamous Woodrow Candle, Russell House Twads, countless trips from Mt. P to Columbia – the list...

Mary Beth and Erik,my deepest thoughts and sympathies are with you in this moment of life. Charles' smile and look upon life and its travails was always encouraging in his reflections and thoughts. Since first meeting him in pharmacy school in 1975 and through out the subsequent years,i only can smile and think of all the good times and happy moments spent with him and around him.I wish the best for you and for Erik. I will have you in my prayers and Charles will always be in my thoughts and...

Mary Beth, My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your son.. One of my biggest regets is not keeping up with Charles over the past 20 years or so. We grew to be great friends during our time at Carolina and shared a love of the outdoors, music, and football and renewed our friendship when I moved to Greenville in the early 80's. "Cactus" was one of the handiest guys I knew and was always the first one to lend a tool or offer help in patching a roof or replacing a water heater. I...

I was sorry to hear about Charles - one of my best high school buddies. It seems that the fondest memories from that time involve Charlie - skiing, cruising in the Malibu, playing ball around his home in the old "Indian village', and so on. Charlie always maintained a balance between work, school and friends that took most of us a little longer to get. His success was certainly no surprise to any of us.
My sympathies to the family and, Charlie, thanks for your unwavering friendship those...
