Charles was the first boss that I ever had. All-around good guy. My condolences to his family.

It was a pleasure to know Charles from The Credit Union he always had a infectious smile and was so well mannered. My Prayers and Condolences are with the family.

Charles made me laugh all the time, too.

I worked with Charles at Dayton Metro Library. We also had fun fishing. He always caught bigger fish than me!

I met Charles as a young child. He hung out with my family a lot! Wherever he was around there was fun, jokes , magic tricks and music! It was like we did karaoke before it was even invented. I will always remember this one phrase he used to say “big deal” in his booming voice. As we all grew older I never got to see him , but I’ll always have fond memories of him!

Charles was a good person- he will be missed. May he Rest In Peace. Sending my sincere condolences.

I've known Charles for many many years as a co-worker at Dayton Metro Library. He left us and worked at Wright Memorial Library in Oakwood. When he returned to the Dayton Library, he took my place as head of circulation when I retired in 2006. Everyone loved Charles! May he Rest in Peace.

I had the chance to work with Charles back in the 2000's at Wright Memorial Library. He was the nicest, coolest guy. I can't remember him ever being in a bad mood. Everyone at the library loved him, including the patrons. I know he was missed by the whole staff when he went back to Dayton Public.

I am so sorry for your loss. He left this life much too soon.

I know he is up in heaven wearing his Steeler's hat and Jersey.
