Well this hurts deeply, Charlie was my Mentor, my best friend, and the father that I never had. Oh the funny stories that I have, from his impersonations of a man with 1000 faces, his impersonation of bozo under the sea with a mouthful of water, his new jokes like New Blue Cheer. Charlie, an all around great man. Always a smile and an entertaining story. I always liked when he took me aside and in a quiet voice to tell me another great joke or about funny thing that happened to him. He was far more unique than his trademark of handing out two dollar bills, which was always fun and exciting. Condolences to the family and to his two lovely daughters that he love so much.

My late wife Barby and I enjoyed being with Charlie and knew him as a great neighbor who was also a very devoted Father. He had a great gift of always making everyone he met feel special.
