Charles Rosenthal Obituary
Charles proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a manager at Sid's Department Store in Salinas, California for 25 years, and also was buyer for Naturalizer shoes. Charles was a member of the Church of Holy Trinity in Salinas. He enjoyed golf and collecting World War II memorabilia.
Charles is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary Rosenthal of Yuma, AZ, stepson, Roy Fryer of Monterey County, CA, stepdaughter, Margie (Tim) O'Grady of Yuma, AZ, niece, Judy Steinberg of Atlantic City, NJ, Diana Morgan Monterey County, CA, nephew, Jim Morgan of Monterey County, CA; several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Edith Rosenthal; step-son, George Fryer; sister, Bonnie Morgan; step great-grandson, Timmy Alexander.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Charles will be laid to rest in Salinas California at the Garden of Memories. In lieu of flower please make donation to Hospice Compassus.

My prayers to Charlie's family. Charlie was always so kind and patient with us Grossman children while we tried on shoes. He always picked the perfect shoe! I have such fond childhood memories of Charlie and his shoe department at Sid's.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Charlie's family. We have the nicest memories of Charlie and how helpful and kind he was. And such a dedicated worker! I'll never fogret how much patience he had for me as a little girl running around his Shoe Dept!

As i write this in memory of Charli the tears are are starting flow,but it conferts me as it should you Mary and Marg,that George was waiting for Charli at hevens gate.My mom and dad are also deeply saddend by Charlis passing as well as Julian and Jerry.One thing stands out in my mind about Charli and something we have in common is we are both sports nuts,and from time to time like to bet the horse race.Charli will always be in my heart along with George and will never be forgotten.As i say goodby, you Mary and Marg have my deepest sympathy for the loss of our beloved Charli.With all my Love Gilbert Maldonado Jr
