ROSSER, Charles A. - Of Grand Blanc Township, age 56, died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at his residence. Memorial service will be held at 10AM Thursday, September 4, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Lawrence W. Kent officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society. Family will receive friends from 9AM Thursday until the time of the memorial service at the funeral home. Mr. Rosser was born in Flint, Michigan on June 25, 1947 and was a resident of Grand Blanc and Flint all of his life. He married Suzanne Talarico on June 6, 1970. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1966 and played football for the Flint Central Indians. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Vietnam from 1967 to 1970. He was a member of VFW Post #822. He was a very loving husband, father and brother, who always wanted the best for everyone. Mr. Rosser was employed by Dupont Auto Finishes for 36 years, retiring in October, 2002. Surviving are wife, Suzanne; 2 daughters, Jenny Rosser and fiance' Craig Peplinski of Harrison Township and Holly Rosser, of Grand Blanc Township; brother, Lynwood and wife Shar Rosser of Davison; 2 sisters, Diana Jacot of Reese, Michigan, Christina and husband Scott Read of Lake City, Michigan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and A.J. Talarico of Flint; several nieces, nephews, very many other family members and his faithful dog, Lucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emily Rosser; 2 brothers, Patrick and John Rosser. "Semper Fi."
