I have just returned to Wilmette from my home in Florida, and just learned of Chuck's passing. We have been longstanding customers at Del Lago pharmacy, and Chuck's absence is felt deeply by all who knew him. We extend our deepest sympathies to your family. Dear Rothschild Family, My husband and I are customers of Del Lago pharmacy and for years have been very grateful for Chuck's knowledge, kindness and humor. He had a wonderful spirit and was always patient dealing with the details of pharmaceutical practice. I think all his customers greatly appreciated him and we miss him very much. To the Rothschild Family: My family and I were regulars at White's since 1960, and we all got to know Chuck well m. My mother and late father particularly liked himand relished trips to White's on weekends to pick up the paper and chat with him. Dear Merle and all, I, my husband and children have known Chuck for over thirty years! We met at White's Drugstore and realized right away what a terrific person he was! He ALWAYS had a smile and good wordsfor everyone! Even when there were tons of New Trier kids mulling around and making noise, Chuck "kept his cool"! I went to the Del Lago Pharmacy today and was told of Chuck's death and the tears began because I know a good friend had left this earth and will be missed so very much! ...
