Not sure what to say?

As a former player, and speaker at Coaches transition to the "Field of Dreams." His memories of his coaching/teaching me life lessons on "how to hit a curve ball." And to always treat people w/kindness, the Springfield way are always in my thoughts.I always wear my SC baseball polo shirts w/pride. I would be remised not to thank Mrs. Roys(Sarah) for being a team mom, and score keeper. Without her showing Coach our team statistics. I wouldn´t have been able for me to bat 3rd. And start at...

There isn´t a day that goes by when I think of Coach and Springfield College. As a former player, he gave me an opportunity to play college baseball. A dream of mine since childhood. I which I treasure everyday. Especially, when I visit the College. And walk the bases with a smile of memories that have lasted a lifetime. I was so honored to speak at Coaches funeral. I was touched that he thought of me that much. God bless ALWAYS....

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of coach Roys. I was a student and a friend of Coach Roy´s during my time in Springfield College. We played handball against each other although he seem to beat me every single time. He stood up for me in times when I was having some issues and stepped up to help me. He was a great educator and a standup guy. Took his baseball coaching class which was an awesome display of his knowledge of the game and for his love of the game. I recently lost my...

RIP Coach Roy´s. I worked with Coach Roy´s at SC and he was a great kind man and baseball coach.

I am so sorry to hear of coach passing away. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I learned so much from him as a player and used a similar coaching style to coach baseball at the high school level and then my son´s little league baseball teams. RIP Coach.

Chuck, my favorite uncle, was a gift to the family and to the world. He will be missed. RIP, Chuck.

A heartfelt thank you for your service to our country. Rest In Peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these difficult times! Like many others, I was fortunate to have Coach Roys in my life and glad to know such a special person. My Dad (Rod Patrick Jr.) & Mom (Fern Patrick) were the reason we met, we went hunting, fishing, golfing and watched you coach college baseball! Thanks for all you meant to me and especially my Dad & Mom, you will be truly missed, but we will celebrate & honor your special life! Love Rod

To the best baseball player I've ever known and a true gentleman to top it off.
