Charles Rushin, Jr.

RUSHIN, Mr. Charles, Jr.- age 71, of Flint, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, December 15, 2017 with an 11:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507.  Apostle Ruby Johnson officiating.  Calling hours are 1:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Charles Rushin Jr. was born September 3, 1946 in Americus, GA the son of Charles Rushin Sr. and Annie C. Rushin.  He graduated from Flint Northern High School.  Charles loved listening to old school music and jazz. He also enjoyed watching old westerns.

Mr. Charles Rushin Jr. leaves to cherish his memory:  sons, Lonnie Rushin, Tyrone Rushin, Ryland Cotton and Dirron Phifer; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Richard Smith and Albert Rushin; nephew, Randy Smith; niece, Grindi Smith; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by:  father, Charles Rushin Sr.; mother, Annie C. Rushin; grandson, Lonnie Rushin Jr.; sister, Essie Rushin and many other relatives.
