Dr. Charles Franklin "Charlie" Safley Jr.

Dr. Safely was my dermatologist for years. I tried to make an appointment with him about 4 years ago and he had passed away. He was a great doctor and has been missed. So sorry for your loss.

I am overwhelmed with finding out that my dermatologist has passed away. I use to see him when I was in middle school. I was 13, I´m 58 now. I needed a dermatologist for a couple of things and looked my favorite Dr up and office closed and to find out what happened, I´m heart broken. My gosh. So, so, so sorry to hear about him passing. He was sweet and so kind, with his silver hair. My condolences to the family. I´ll miss not seeing him again.

Donna - I think of you and Charlie so very often - especially over the holidays when I would see you both at my music booth in Memphis. I have a fond memory of Charlie calling me from your boat one day as you were out on the water, and Charlie would say, "Hey Steve, you hear that music we're playing on the boat? We love it!" Such wonderful memories you both bring to my life. I thank you so much.

Used Dr. SAFLEY IN FORREST CITY, AR. HE USED TO COME TO FORREST MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. HE WAS THE BEST. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I WAS NEEDING A DERMATOLOGIST AND WAS TRYING TO LOCATE HIM WHEN I FOUND HE HAD PASSED AWAY.

To Charley´s family. Charley was a friend of mine in high school. He and Ritt Frazer. I went to Central and Lausanne. We remained friends and he became my dermatologist. I have a history of cold sores and Charley would shoot medication into my sores to help them heal fast. I moved from Memphis after divorce and becoming a LPC , Licensed Professional Counselor, to Phoenix, Az for 22 years. In Phoenix I never had a cold sore because no pollen . Oh Donna I was so shocked and sad to learn of Charlie's passing into spirit! I don't think Daddy knew. I was looking up your contact information to send a picture I found that was taken at your wedding. I'm going through pictures because Daddy passed in November.
