Not sure what to say?

May God have mercy on all our souls, especially Chuck Santoro's.

Fr. Chuck was a tremendous spiritual inspiration in my family's life. I pray to him now for continued guidance. My heartfelt sympathy goes to all those close to him.

. Father Chuck was so helpful to my daughter in law at the time of my son`s death, and to their children. I am grateful to him and his loving spirit. Elaine Tonolli

I felt thankful to have been able to attend Fr. Santoro's funeral today at Holy Rosary. Was a glorious celebration with Fr. Charles' twin brother, Fr. David, officiating. Their younger brother who passed away when he was 13 years old was even planning to become a Jesuit! What a wonderful family they have! We were blessed by the presence of many priests at the funeral today, including Archbishop Flynn.
Our Fr. Charles also preached by his actions, his kindness and joyfulness will live...

Father Santoro presided over the funerals of my mother, Charlotte Whitaker, and uncle, Charles O'Hagan. He helped my family through some tough times. He was a very kind man, had a great sense of humor, and was a great conversationalist. I am sorry that I did not hear about the funeral until now. I would certainly have attended.

I met Father Chuck at Holy Rosary more than 30 years ago when I was a student. I respected him then and that respect grew over the years as he became a significant figure for my family. He was there for us and our parents through good times and not so good. He will be greatly missed.

I met Fr. Santoro several years ago when he attended the DeLaSalle High School basketball state tournament games. He always brought bags full of black and gold pompoms for the students. He loved the excitement of the games and being with the students. Whenever I would meet him he always had a few minutes to talk and was interested in what was going on at school or in my world.

Fr. Chuck,
Fr. Chuck was my cousin. He always made me laugh. Except when I was 16 and was Theresa Ann's God-Mother. He wouldn't let me hold her during the Baptism, so I poutted the whole time. I loved watching football games with Chuck. He always came wearing the school colors. He would get Aunt Roxie to wear the right colors, too! He always signed his cards, Cousin Chuck. Chuck will be missed!
