Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear the sad news of Chucks passing.Chuck was an outstanding chemical engineer at Chevron. He was a very good and just person.Chuck, may God bless you and show you the path to everlasting life.

Chuck and I were members of NorCal motorcycle club. I have known Chuck only a few short years but I will never forget him. He is one of the nicest man I have ever met. A man with a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to talk to. Always lending a helpful hand. Thanks Chuck for being my friend.

I met Chuck for the first time in 1999 when he was the Council representative for an outing to the Philmont Scout Ranch. I interviewed for one of the positions of Assistant Scoutmaster. I had heard his name many times as being the leader of international and national Scouting events in which the council had involvement. The council could always count on Chuck. This Philmont trek ended up being my greatest and most enjoyable achievement in Scouting. I know the Scouting community will truly...

Our families were all so close and spent so much time together celebrating family events and holdays it was like being a member of one giant family. Though we grew up and went our separate ways and didn't see much of each other I am terribly saddened and shocked over the sudden loss of cousin Charlie. My thoughts are with his family, sister, brothers and mother. Find peace Charlie! Dick Nollet

Our hearts were broken when we got the word of Mr. Chuck Savage's passing. There are not enough words to express what a wonderful Scout leader he was and we will truly miss him. Every event he was always there for us. He always asked us how we were doing. We were very grateful for his help, his wonderful advice, and his encouragements. We were very thankful that he spent many efforts to make sure that our fellow Scouts had the best opportunity for success in Scouting. He had been an...

So many hundreds of boys became good men because of the leadership, energy, and wisdom of Chuck Savage. Goodbye, Chuck.

I am very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He worked for many years at the Richmond Technology Center site and made many contirbutions to both the research work and overall safety of the facilities through his design of gas detection and alarm systems and his steadfast upholding of the standards . He was strong in priciples and actions. Individual s with such qualities are rare.. May he find peace.

I only knew Chuck through being an Adult Volunteer in the Scouting program. He was the embodiment of an adult leader and what we should strive toward- well trained, enthusiastic and committed to delivering the best possible program to our scouting youth. In my minds eye I can see Chuck 'strike a manly pose' blow loudly on 'the Kudu Horn' and find great joy in all he accomplished through Boy Scouts.

My heart goes out to Chuck's family and friends.
