Charlie was a dear and great co-worker of mine. I met Charlie when he and I worked together in the Space Science Laboratory at MSFC. He and I use to meet at Johnson High track field where we did our early morning walk. I retired in 2010 also, and saw Charlie last in Sparkman Dr. Wal-Mart. My heart goes out to the family. James E. Charles was a kind and generous co-worker. He was like a big brother to me in my early years at MSFC. I´m sorry he and I had lost touch in recent years, and so sorry for the family´s loss. Wishing y´all peace and comfort.
