Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the whole Family.
Chuck was a great coach- a classic coach, right up there with Bill Bowerman. By letting each of us be ourselves and putting love of the sport of running ahead of ego he allowed us to excel as individuals and ultimately as a team. We looked like a ragtag bunch of kids until the starting gun went off- then it was all business. Under his coaching, we won and had fun every step of the way. In every way he celebrated the human spirit. May his spirit live on.

Paul, Your Dad was a great man who I will always remember with much respect, appreciation and fondness. Lynn van Leer

My thoughts are with you Paul. He was a great man who I will always remember with respect & much fondness. :)

To this day, every time I drive around T-burg, I remember our "measured mile" competitions on Falls Road, the repetitions of running up & down that steep hill on Cayuga St. over & over & over. He coached me in both X-C & Track - on very successful teams, back when TCS had no track, only a cowpath around the football field and all of our track competitions were away meets. I will remember Chuck Schwartz for his motivation, humor, energy, and kindnesses to the athletes of TCS, encouraging every...

Paul...I posted this on Steve VanVolkinburg's FB Page as that was how I learned of your Father's passing. So sorry for you and yours loss. "Coach Schwartz was a calming influence in my life while on his teams at TCS; I remember being in his Blue Jeep CJ7 with Paul his son as he spoke encouraging words of not to give up. My condolences to all, as the human race has lost a kindred soul who left a positive impression on all who crossed his path. I might try to make his service here in Florida....

Suzanne, sorry to hear of your father's passing. My love to you and Mary.
