Not sure what to say?

Kathy, I am Nancy Jane's grand daughter in TX. I just found out today about Charles. We kept in touch every few months via email. When he didn't answer my last email, I just thought he was very busy with everything he did. I sent him another email last night and received an email from Agnes this morning informing me. I am heart broken. There will never be another heart as big. You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts always.

Paris Junior College's 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient

Lucky. That's how Red would tell you he had been. But those who had the chance to be around him for just a little while KNEW full well it was because of hard work.
It was an honor and blessing for me to have the opportunity to be part of a group from his junior college alma mater, Paris (TX) Junior College, to spend the afternoon with him reflecting on his life, success, and most importantly, his friendships. Matt: Great to hear from you ! Glad to hear you are doing well. I knew it
all along from the day we first met. You are a winner !! As we speak we
are at Vintage playing the 32nd edition of the Red Scott La Jolla-Vintage Shoot Out. Same...

By sheer coincidence I found out that Red is no longer with us. Like all who have met him, he had a special place in my heart. As a Swedish co-worker to his son Kelly during his stay in the late seventies in Stockholm, Sweden, I got to meet with Kathy and Red several times and was always generously taken care of in their beautiful home in La Jolla where I have spent many wonderful times, including Christmas and Thanksgiving. When visiting their son in Stockholm we had the possibility to...

The Big Red Machine w/"Ole Left Lane"

Red Scott, the great leader will be missed by all that knew him. He is in a peaceful place. Red gave so much to his family and friends. May the Scott family find peace in their hearts; from knowing how much he loved them. I miss the morning calls, with my mentor, friend and partner. – Chip Webster
