Rev. Charles Scragg was my superintendent in the Parkersburg area when I was entering into ministry. He was a great mentor to me and to many others throughout our West Virginia Conference. He was a colleague in Princeton when I came to my first appointment after seminary. His leadership has left a vacancy here in our conference. Our love to you and your family!

We were privileged to be appointed just down the road from Charles & Ann when we lived in Athens, WV and they were in Princeton, WV. They were so supportive and welcoming. We spent time together in many district meetings, dinners and breakfasts. Charlie and I got in trouble more that once for being too rowdy!
