Not sure what to say?

I would like to express My Sincere Condolences to the Family of Rev. Charles W. Scragg, Jr. I Loved and Respected Charles Very Much and he will be dearly missed. I was Truly Blessed and Specially Proud to have known Charles. My Thoughts and Prayers are with all of His Wonderful Family.

It is an absolute honor to be related to this man by name and blood. Hailey and I will always remember you Uncle Charles. She was always your girl. Now watch her grow, and blossom into that woman you knew she would become. We love you, forever. 3-21-11, 3-21-20. Tied together like a knot. I love you.

A warm thanks for all youve done in service

Sad was the parting of the one we love so dear.

Were left with sweet memories of him once here in some small way, every single day precious memories of him will come our way.

Unseen and unheard, but always near his divine spirit is just as dear. Rest upon that mountain, thy good and faithful servant.

Forever in our hearts,
Emerson Family

Worked many Trash and Treasures with the Rev. He gave me a Masonic belt buckle along the way.We cooked a lot of hot dogs for the T & T together. Take care Linda

Rev. Charles Scragg was my superintendent in the Parkersburg area when I was entering into ministry. He was a great mentor to me and to many others throughout our West Virginia Conference. He was a colleague in Princeton when I came to my first appointment after seminary. His leadership has left a vacancy here in our conference. Our love to you and your family!

I had a lot of good times with Charles and appreciate his ministry

I remember Rev. Scragg when he was my Pastor at Grace United Methodist church in Keyser. A wonderful man. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

We were privileged to be appointed just down the road from Charles & Ann when we lived in Athens, WV and they were in Princeton, WV. They were so supportive and welcoming. We spent time together in many district meetings, dinners and breakfasts. Charlie and I got in trouble more that once for being too rowdy! He was so much fun to be around and yet was so formidable as a preacher and teacher. When we experienced the tragedy of losing a baby, he drove Roy all the way to Huntington, WV ...

I knew your parents many years ago. Your parents and my parents double-dated way back in the 40's and remained close friends for decades. I remember bits and pieces of stories they told of their antics and fun times together. My parents were Leroy and Wanda Miller of Charleston. They introduced me to your mom and dad at a very young age. Then, my connection with your parents through the United Methodist Church continued for many years. I remember your dad to have such a great smile and...
