I will miss you forever.

We are so very sorry for your loss and that we missed the memorial service, only reading about Charlie's death in the Sunday paper. We enjoyed knowing Charlie and working with him. A wonderful mentor and person.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I enjoyed meeting Charlie. He had a lot of style, he will be missed.

Charles Shaffer was unique man who left an indelible impression on those who came into contact with him. He was fearless in in representing this who needed his help and an unforgettable presence in the courtroom or a Congressional hearing. He could always surprise as I was many mornings at 7:00 am Mass at St. Mary's in Rockville when he would appear in his riding boots.He was one of a cadre of Rockville lawyers who formed firm and fast friendships.
