Not sure what to say?

Your dad was one of a kind. He was my doctor in the 70's and being a student at the time he knew I didn't have insurance, he never charged me full price. He would ask me how much did I have in my pocket, it may have been $2.00 or $5.00. He would take it with a smile and tell me to have a nice day.
I am so glad to know that your dad lived a long and happy life. God does reward people that are kind and helpful towards one another.
So sorry for your loss.

Dr. Sheard was a wonderful man. He did something for me that I still think about today. When I was 19 years old, I had just started a new job and there was a three month waiting period for my insurance coverage to take effect. I needed a procedure that should have cost around $140. Dr. Sheard knew I didn’t have insurance and he charged me $10. It is now 40 years later, and I can honestly say that nobody has ever done anything as kind for me.

There will never be another dermatologist who could even come close to having half of the knowledge and expertise of this great doctor. He took care of problems for me that no other could even diagnose. To this day I think of him often and wish he had been here in SC to continue treating me. Janet Fusaro (Myrtle Beach, SC.)

I appreciated the gentleness and kindness he showed my late friend Brian who was a pt. He always spoke very highly of Dr. Sheard and was very touched not only by the excellent care he received but the caring of the physician /healer offering it. Bet Brian was amongst the throngs welcoming him on his arrival!

Dr. Sheard will be missed ,he was my doctor for 45 years a great man and a wonderful Doctor ,Stamford will truly mourn this loss of a pioneer in the medical field A great man larger than life.

Dr. Sheard was a really kind and thoughtful man, along with his expertise in solving dermatalogical problems. I will not forget him ever.
