Charles B. Shefsky

I served with Charlie in Heidlberg Germany in 1966/67, we were bunk mates until our wives arrived. I have many great memories of our time there. So sorry to hear of his passing. I've been trying to find him online for years, sorry I didn't find sooner

Memories are few after all these years. What I remember of Charlie is of someone true, real and strong-willed. He was always kind, considerate and selfless to me, as he was with so many others. Charlie had a kind word for everyone protecting his family whenever he could. Haven´t seen him for years, spoke to him once in all that time. He was the same Charlie. Carolyn, sorry for your loss. He was the best partner a person could have.
