Funeral service for Charles Edward Shoulders of Athens, AL will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 12:00 noon at the Homer L. Moses Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Shoulders II as Eulogist. Interment and committal will be at Houston cemetery. Mr. Shoulders will lie in repose from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Public viewing will be at the Peoples Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m.

Godfather walked me down the aisle and gave me away to my husband in 2001. One of the best days of my life.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your wonderful father with me. I was so proud to be called his Goddaughter. Godfather was REMARKABLE and will always be remembered for his warmth and kindness to all who knew him. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories and lifelong beautiful memories he gave us all to keep. I Love You, Godfather. RIP.
