In the back of a MAST ambulance 1982

To all your surviors Charlie: He gave me my start in EMS by hiring me as a 19 year old kid from south Kansas City, I'm still working as an EMT in Kansas City 32 years later. The first time I saw him was in the ambulance garage @ 27th & Harrison, working on one of the ambulances. It wasn't until much later that I learned who he was. It was even later, after he sold to ASI, that I found out how real he was. I was just told this evening(April 25th) of his passing by another former Community...

Your Son Charles W. Sievers, Jr.

May all of you find comfort in your memories of Charlie. I never had a chance to meet him, but his obvious influence in the life of his grandson is a wonderful tribute. Jason's love for his family is a testimony to the type of man Charlie was. God Bless.

With deepest sympathies and hoping the special memories of Grandpa Charlie will carry you all through this difficult time. Jason's stories of growing up and spending time with his Grandpa are so wonderful and always make me laugh . . . I had the priveledge of meeting Charlie a few times and what a wonderful man. Truly a life to celebrate.

I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on some of the great memories of Grandpa Charlie.

That is when I grabbed my bag a made the mad dash up 27th St. for Grandma & Grandpa's house. This is where I spent most...

I am so sorry for your loss.
May the good Lord bless and keep him.
And may the family have peace & compfort.
Les and Pat are very good friends of mine.
Blessing to them, too.

Grandpa was always so happy to see the family. My fond memories of him will live with me always. Rest in Peace Grandpa!

Love, Kimberly (Sievers) Schneider
