Not sure what to say?

I remember the day Dennis Whalen called me to deliver the sad news of Chuck passing on. It was a very sad day. As i sit in the exact same place as i was when Denny called me ladt year, i got an email on his guest book. My continued thoughts and prayers go out to all that were blessed by Chuck. I raise my morning coffee cup to the memory of Chuck.. God bless.

I'm so sorry to just be hearing about this. It breaks my heart. I'm watching the 12/12/12 concert and Billy Joel just came on singing "only the good die young" a hit in High school and quite true to hear. There is no ability to understand it but he will be missed by many and I'm sad not to have known him as an adult but feel his spirit now with the words that were shared here.

I grew up across the street from Chuck and the "Silva brothers" in High School. It was always entertaining in some way. I remember chuck never had a winter coat on no matter what the weather, he was in a short sleeve shirt with that deep laugh and smile. I'm sorry I missed him as the wonderful man it sounds like he became to so many.

For the first time in my life.. I am truly speechless. I stand with tears down my face and remember so many good times. I hope they never fade. Condolences to all that feel the loss of such a great man whom touched so many.

Just heard the news...As one of the marine dealerships honored to be serviced by Chuck. What a shock to hear the news. He was one of the best, and the industry still suffers at his loss. He had a huge heart. May God bless the family

Mardi and family,

We were so saddened to hear of Chuck's passing. He lit up a room with his presence.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chuck was a shining presence. I feel deep sorrow to learn of his passing and heartfelt sympathy to everyone who he touched.

Like many of the others who wrote in from our high school days, I will always remember Chuck as a fun loving, funny, warm and loyal friend. When together back then, Chuck and Rick were a true force of nature! It's a testament to the man that the impacts Chuck made on those in his adult life, as evidenced through these tributes, were the same he made on all of us decades before as we were growing up. Here's to you, Chuck!

Dear Marti, Rick, Ted, Chris and Col. Silva. My deepest condolences for our beloved Chucks passing. Although Chuck and I lost touch slowly after high school. Chuck is a lifetime brother to me. We were best friends in high school. Always out together on Friday and Saturday nights. I met you briefly Marti at Spencer Kings house. His laugh, expressions and comical voices and jestures are always with me. Chuck was the kind of friend that had your back. I love Chuck Silva and always will. Please...
