Silvestri Charles J., Sr. on May 8, 2014,at 78 years, of Georgetown, DE and formerly of Abington Twp., PA. Husband of Pauline R. (nee Lally). Father of Charles J., Jr, Frank R. (Tatiana), James R. (Carol), Paul M. (Tawnee), Elizabeth D. Eliff (Brad) and stepson Robert Gordon (Francine). Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren , his brother Richard (Eleanor) and his niece and nephew. He retired after 25 years of service as an Abington Twp. Police Officer. He enjoyed his retirement by spending time on his land and fishing. Funeral Mass Wednesday at 11 AM at St. John of the Cross 2741 Woodland Rd. Roslyn, PA 19001. Relatives and friends are invited to the church after 10 AM. Interment Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
