Not sure what to say?

Dr. Slappy gave me confidence and advocated for me when I was not able to do so for myself. I am grateful to have met him. Rest in peace sweet man.

Evelyn and daughter, we only heard about the passing of Brother Slappy on yesterday as we attended a football game at NCCU. A young lady that Brother Slappy taught at NCCU asked me if Slappy was still in Durham. Little did I know while looking information up on Brother Slappy that I would run across his obituary. Walterene and I send our best regards to you and your daughter. Our prayers answer blessings are with you always.

Evelyn and Tinera I am so saddened to hear of the loss of your husband and father. I pray your memories will keep you strong for I know God's love will be your crutch.
