Not sure what to say?

we were fortunate enough to enjoy a day long visit
with father slough in late june. we spent the day together
remembering our times in elysburg. we found father to be
happy, grateful, content, and the inspiration we always
looked for. may the eternal light shine upon him and
grant him peace.

oyhood friend at the Emerald Street playground back in the 1940's.
He and I dwelivered Sunday newspapers to folks on Front and Second Streets.
We attended many different games together. He will be fondly remembered for the wounderful sense of humor and great interest in sports.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the parishioners of The Queen of the Most Holy Rosary and students of Lourdes HS. I would like to express our appreciation for everything you did for my Uncle Father Charles. All of you were a large part of his life and gave more to him then you know and as a result you also gave to our family. Thank you for your hospitality while we were there for the services and for the love that showed my Uncle.

I can remember camping as a child, and Father Slough would come join our family for a cookout and always tell the best stories. I haven't seen him in years, but I will never forget, as a child, how captivated my siblings and I were by him. May he rest with God.

I will miss his friendship, honesty and his caring nature. He was always there for me in good times and bad, and I thank God for allowing Father Slough to have touched my life. I will always cherish the gift of his true friendship.

Father Slough, you will be missed. He was a kind soul who I will always remember as offering a helpful basketball tip to me while I was in school at Lourdes. Thank you for all you have done and the lives you have touched. May God bless you.

I can vividly remember shooting hoops with Father Slough when I was an altar boy and he was a young priest at Our Lady's in Mount Carmel...early sixties. He was an excellent athlete and would always beat us all!
Requiescat en pace.

Through his many physical infirmities, Fr. Slough carried his cross with a redemptive quality personified by the saints that came before him. I will always remember fondly our discussions on the faith to the pros and cons of basketball’s zone defense. May God grant him eternal rest, and may His perpetual light shine upon him.
