Not sure what to say?

Charles would always come to the rescue! Caring, witty and of course charming. He loved to fix things. Always a "giver", a great man indeed. He will be a part of me till we meet again. He will be missed.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Love, Light, and condolences to the family and loved ones of Charles D. Small. ...I don't think anyone can do any better than being ' The Best Father That Anyone Could Have Had'. It's really one of those great and HIGH HONORS to be considered such. It's sad that someone with such an ACHIEVEMENT is no longer with us. We're so sorry for your loss. What a blessing to be able to spend so much time together these last several years. May sweet memories replace the pain in time.

Charlie was like my second father and I never thought that was possible. We met at Myers Agency in early 2000. Great friend, was always there when either of us needed the other. I would think about him and my phone would ring and vis versa. Always had a smile on his face and a quick joke to share. Yes and oh SO witty!! You will be greatly missed my dear friend.

I knew Charles as Charley, and he was the wittiest, nicest gentleman I have ever known. I no longer live in Huntsville; however, I thought of him often. I met Charley in the late 60's/early 70s as he was a coworker at Sears with my husband, Philip Simpson. Whenever Charley saw either of my adult children, Philip, Jr or Annie, he would always ask about me first. He was a dear friend, and although we haven't seen each other in several years, I will never forget his gallantry and his laugh....

Sad to hear about Charlie. Worked with him back in the Apollo days. He did estimating and hardware assessment for building test stands in the NASA test area. Was a good dude liked by all.
