Dear Ann, young Ann (I bet you love being called that) and Charlie Jr.,
Charlie Sr. was one of my Moms oldest and dearest friends from Roxbury. They both settled in Quincy and we as their children became friends and shared many a summer vacation together in Ossipee, NH. We have wonderful and crazy memories together with our families, and of course of Charlie always dressing up in his Ossipee best. He had the gift of making me feel good and always made me smile. He surely was the "TALK OF...

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
