Charles Franklin Smith

I just found out today about Charlie and my condolences to you all. I am a blue grass music player in the area and had recently bought one of his mandolins this winter. I knew him from being out playing and trading instruments but viewed him as a good friend. He always had good stories and knowledge about the music and the instruments we play. I sure will miss him and his driving mandolin playing. I'll remember him each time i grab that old mandolin from the case. Take care.

We know God is with you all in comfort, support, and understanding. That Charles is playing blue Grass on the clouds. That Nancy ran up to him with a big hug and said "What the heck are you doing here so soon Dad?" He was a true Gentleman and was respected by many and will be missed by many.
