Scotty and I both farmed in Deer Valley back in the 50s and 60s He and I be came close friends . I was in the produce farming. He called me one day and said I want to grow some lettuce. Will you be my partner. So we did with my supervision. His ground wasn`t that great for lettuce. Couldn`t make size, so we lost money on his crop. He said that was enough. I will stick with cotton.
