Not sure what to say?

It is a pleasure to recall my interactions with Tad in my capacity as director of the Inteflex neuroscience program. His contributions to the teaching of pharmacology were invaluable. It was a pleasure to work with him.

Tad was a valued colleague and good friend. I have fond memories of our work together on the medical school Inteflex neuroscience course.

I so miss my conversations with Tad. It is hard to believe it has been 6 years. I think of him often.

I am just hearing of his passing. I am so sorry but honored to have met him during my graduate student days at Michigan. Prayers for Peggie and the rest of the family.

We are terribly saddened to learn of Tad's passing. He was a committed and inspiring colleague.

a candle for Tad...we look forward to his memorial service...should be quite a time!...please let us all know when and where....

My time and Dr. Smith's at the Department of Pharmacology did not overlap, but he was a reliable source of updates on what was up in the department, and his participation and every year attendance at the Davis, Markert, Nickerson lectures was indicative of the care he took with his professional life as well as the life of the University and his family...his absence will be felt deeply, and he will be missed...

Peggy, I was sorry to hear of Tad's passing. As you know we worked together for over 25 years on our Medical Pharmacology courses. He strived to keep our lectures vibrant and relevant. He was a great example of a Professor and Academic. I will miss our conversations and our arguments.
My sincere condolences to you and family and friends.

Dr. Smith was a generous, kind, intelligent, and compassionate human being and academician. He and his wife, Dr. Hollingsworth, welcomed me into their lab and we're pivotal in launching my medical career. They are a extraordinary couple and Dr. Smith will be greatly missed by all whose life he impacted personally and professionally as well as by his wife and family.
