Not sure what to say?

Nan,
Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. While we didn't get to know you or Charlie very well, we enjoyed the conversations we had with Charlie during the short time we lived across the street from you . He seemed to be a very intellegent, kind, and gentle man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Charlie was principal at SCCS when he hired me. I will always have fond memories of him. Charlie also frequented a bird store run by my wife, Connie, where they they became good friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with Nan and the whole family.

Pam and family,

My mom and dad (Pat & Mary Kelly) told me your sad news on Saturday morning. They were quite shocked and saddened. Please accept my sincere condolence on behalf of my family, who fondly remember your dad from our days at Sherwood and Southern Cayuga.
All our best wishes.

Dear Aunt Nancy, Shari and Pam:

I was so sorry to hear from Mom of Uncle Charles' passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your extended family. Yesterday I was reminiscing about Chase's Lake and the summer you built the cabin. These days Mom's radius for driving is little smaller than...

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have good memories of working with Charlie at Southern Cayuga.

Warren and Mary Leib

Charlie was one of the kindest persons I have ever known. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Nan and the entire family.

I have wonderful memories of Mr. Snyder at Wells and of course in the village. He loved the Civil War and especially Gettysburg. He was a wonderful teacher and friend. I am so sorry not to be able to meet you on Sunday.
My love and condolences to you all,

Pru

Dearest Aunt Nancy,

We have been so very blessed to have had Uncle Charlie in our lives. What a brilliant man. He loved to learn as much as he loved to teach.

As we look around our yard in Florida, we continue to think of all the wonderful things he taught us about our land each time you were here to visit. We feel blessed with his presence.

We will remember his deep love for you, Pam and Shari as well as your beautiful grandchildren.

Please...

In loving memory of Charlie, we send thoughts of his wonderful knowledge of birds and wildlife that he shared with us as well as our hikes on Pinckney Island, his stories of Italy and his taste for Coca Cola and hamburgers. He was always there to help with tools in hand.

We have so many warm memories. We were very blessed to enjoy such a wonderful friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Nan and with your daughters in this time of sorrow.
