Not sure what to say?

I love you always Uncle Spencer!

what a great man. I cherished my time at Jesuit with him. Rest in peace my brother.

Chaz and family I am so sorry for your loss may his memories keep his spirit alive and provide you comfort. Love, Mary McDonough-Paul

He was a role model for a lot of us, all my respect Top. Semper Fi.

Top was a great positive influence on all of us in MJROTC. I think of him teaching the right way to tie a tie and getting my gig line and shirt tucked in right every day. Prayers for him and his family.

Top: On those rides home to Lake Barrington from Jesuit Mark and I received a lot of sage advice from the driver's seat. I wish I would have taken it all to heart, but I certainly do remember the 5 Ps. Mark White, I'm praying for you and your family during this time; from all that I remember and have learned of Top, he paved his own way to heaven. God bless y'all. Jay Eckholdt JHS '82

Too was an indomitable spirit full of fight and energy and love of life . He was a great colleague that I looked up to and admired - he used to beat the living tar outta me on the golf course as he made me laugh the whole time- i was many of the young men at jesuit that he inspired / God bless Top Spencer!

Top was a true friend and co-worker at Jesuit in th early 1980's I feel fortunate to have maintained a friendship with Top Spencer for the remainder of his life. Truly a fine individual and a great role model for youth and other people. I am proud to say he was my friend. My family is praying for his family, and I now he will be a leader in this next life. Truly a loss.

Losing Top is terrible news. My colleague and friend was a very special person. My wife and I looked forward to our visits in LaPlace on our trips to New Orleans. Sylvia loved Top as well as myself. His strength was incomparable as evidenced by of of his bear hugs. Nothing or no obstacle could he not overcome, not even a flood that devastated his city. Deprived of his time on the links in recent years, I'm sure he already has his tee-time in heaven. Fore!
