Charles Gerrish Sproule, Jr, age 94, entered Heaven on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Springmoor Retirement Community in Raleigh, North Carolina.
A visitation will be held at the Springmoor auditorium (1500 Sawmill Rd., Raleigh, NC 27615) on Saturday, April 20th from 3:00 to 4:00PM followed by a celebration of Charlie's life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Springmoor Endowment Fund (same address) or the charity of your choice. Online guestbook available at www.legacy.com

I just discovered this obituary and my heart is very saddened. Charlie Sproule was the one who enabled me to come and start a new life in America after I befriended his son in England. I was welcomed into the bosom of his family and they have all lived in my heart ever since.That was 43 years ago now. May God bring you to eternal peace Charlie, Farewell dear friend
