Dr. Charles R. Starr

I am saddened to hear that Dr. Starr passed away. I worked with him at Providence Seaside Hospital and Columbia Memorial Hospital. He was so kind, gentle and professional to all of his patients and co-workers.He treated everyone with utmost respect. He always went above and beyond to help anyone and did beautiful re-constructions to many patients that had injuries. He was a one of a kind Doctor!

I know he loved his family very much!

I'm sorry to hear about Dr Starr's death. I worked for him from 1984-1994 in his clinic as one of the surgical nurses. I have such fond memories of the times we had in and out of the office. It was also a delight to work with him- he was such a wonderful surgeon and he treated each patient with the utmost of care and respect. My condolences to his family. Thanks for the wonderful tribute that you wrote about him.
