Not sure what to say?

Evelyn,
My prayers are with you. I learned so much from his expertly delivered Sunday School lessons. I will miss him.

Ned's participation on my Emmaus weekend had such a profound effect on me on my walk. His life of practical Christianity shown through clearly in all he said and did. What a blessing to have known him, as I know so many feel the same way. Heaven has gained a great addition to those streets of gold.

Mr. Ned was a true spiritual inspiration in our Walk with our Lord. He simply radiated the face of Christ; beaming with Joy and Love. When we think of the description of "Disciple" Rev. Steele will always come to mind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My husband and I were so saddened to learn of Ned's passing. We felt a special bond with him since he and my hubby are both called Ned. Now one of the Neds has moved on to Glory! We saw him last in Dr. Perofsky's office where both were patients of
the skilled surgeon. Even there, they joked that the crowded office folks couldn't handle two Ned's. We will always love his joyous spirit and his unselfish giving of himself for others. May God reward him richly in...

Reverend Steele was our minister many years ago at FUMC Waycross. He was a wonderful leader, minister and person. My family always loved him. My prayers are with you, Mrs. Steele, Suzanne and Sally.

It was a pleasure and blessing to listen to one of Ned's Sunday School lesson in the Nan Freeman Class. Ned was an inspiriation to all of us and we will miss his smiling face and cute remarks. Yes, Ned, you will be greatly missed and we thank our God for you and the love you had for all of us. Praying for God's comfort and peace to the family during these difficult days.

Evelyn,Suzanne and Sally,
What a powerful and positive witness Ned was to me and so many of our South Georgia clergy! He was a great encourager who made you feel better about yourself and about life. We were all blessed by his triumphant spirit!
We are sorry we will not be able to attend the services, but our thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
We love you! God bless you,
Benjy and Mary Varnell

Dear Evelyn and family,
What an amazing man Ned was! He was such an encouragement to us, and I will miss seeing him! We pray blessings and peace for you and yours!

I am so sorry to hear of Ned's passing. He was one of the leaders on my walk to Emmaus. (H.O.G.W.T.E. #156)Ned was an inspiration to me and was a true disciple of Christ. He shared many stories with me during that time. He will be missed by many but he is in heaven praising and worshiping our God with the friends and family that have gone on to glory with him.
