Not sure what to say?

I think of Charlie often and many times wish that I could have 1 more conversation with him. He was truly a wonderful man. I miss him

I think of Charlie often and miss seeing him at St. Angela's. He was a gentleman who loved his family and his community. God Bless you Charlie, I miss you

I met Charlie through my husband in the die casting business. He was a remarkable person and we shared some meaningful events through St. Angela's. I looked up to Charlie and will be forever grateful to have known him. He is a saint in heaven now.

Charlie was a dear long time friend. He will be missed. A warm hug to his beautiful daughters and family.

Charlie was such a pleasant and truly nice man. Always had a friendly, positive and fun comment. We at the Beach House will miss him.

Charlie was one of the sweetest and most supportive people I have ever known. I learned of his strong faith as I watched him receive communion at my tiny Catholic New Year's eve wedding many years ago. He will truly be missed by many.

I apologize that my message is so late in coming. Charlie was someone my late husband Jack most admired and aspired to emulate. A very great sailor with a deep love for the sport he set the example of what a true Corinthian is. Besides that, he was a great deal of fun to be around. He will be much missed.

The Cowen's history with Charlie (and his family) spanned more than 60 years, from Comets and International 14s in the 1940s to a golden afternoon on the restored Dawn decades later. He was a remarkable man, and we remember him with tremendous gratitude for his friendship.

A real joy to have known Charlie. Such a fine man and to have sailed in his world.
