I worked with Gene in the Battle Creek Plant and he was always encouraging to everyone. My prayers are with his family.

Uncle Gene, I sure will miss you. You always had a ready laugh as well as words of wisdom when I was old enough to listen. I'll never forget all the great times you spent with us kids. Of course, I'll always remember skiing behind your snowmobile. I, too remember going to the tree farm and getting Christmas trees and riding in the back of the truck with the pokey trees. To my favorite Uncle. I was still a child in your wedding party and felt like a princess. I remember your '57 Chevy and spending weekends with both of you eating Chef-Boy-ar-dee Pizza that seemed like the best pizza I ever ate. Then came the pick up truck that carried our fresh cut Christmas tree home. The gears would lock up but you taught Aunt Sherry how to unlock them which she did even while she was pregnant with Scott. Sherry- we are so sorry to hear of Genes passing- Becky called us (we are in the UP)so we will be unable to attend his Memorial service.Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time. God Bless.
