Not sure what to say?

Shirley, The memories that came back to me when I heard of Charlie's passing. I am so sorry to hear this. When I think of the Crusaders, I think of Charlie and how he kept us all 'in line'. So many good memories of that time in my life. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Shirley - I am so sorry to have heard that Charlie passed. I think we all will have our memories of him as the heart and soul of the Stafford Drum & Bugle Corp.

My prayers are with you all. Charlie was a great person; easy to be around with a wonderful dry wit. Charlies love and continued participation in the world of racing were a great source of pride to his brother, Gary. There were many fond memories shared of the days when they worked together on stock cars as very young men. Prayerfully they are together again.

Charlie was a friend and a wonderful person. I worked with him for several years and I will always remember his smile and his passion for racing.

I was completely surprised to hear of Charlie's passing. I had no idea he had been ill. Charlie and I worked together at Weaver Mirror and were the last employees to leave. Although, it had been many years since I had the privilege of working with him, he was never forgotten. He was a superior man with a wonderful heart and great intelligence. I enjoyed working with him all those years ago and am certainly sadden by this news. May God bless you and your family at this particularly...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

Thinking of you....
