Not sure what to say?

CHARLIE WAS A GOOD FRIEND WHOM I KNEW FROM GABBY HARNETTS SPORT SHOP. HE WAS AT ALL TIMES CHEERFUL, FUNNY AND HELPFUL. HIS PRESENCE WILL BE MISSED, BUT HIS MEMORY WILL ENDURE.
MAY HIS FAMILY HAVE THE STRENGTH THAT IS NOW NEEDED.

Chuck was a mentor and motivator to those of us who do more virtual fly fishing and fly tying than on the waters. He will be missed not only by his family, but also his extended family of Chicago Fly Fishers.

Chuck was a mentor and motivator to anyone who had an interest in fly fishing and the art of tying fly's.
He leaves a void in his family and in the extended family of Chicago Fly Fishers and those of us for whom he facilitated a gathering place and talented instructors. His family and the world of fly fishers will miss him greatly.

Charlie was the type of man everyone loved and admired. He was my inspiration to someday work on the CPD Range. Charlie was both friend and Mentor. God bless him and his Family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. My late Dad (John Fischer) worked with Charlie some years back. I recall him being a big man like my Dad. The meet again !

Dear Rose and Family,
My sincerest sympathy and prayers for you all. I can still see Charlie cooking sauce at our St. Joseph's Table and drinking his soda out of a glass vase. He was great,as are the memories of the St. Joseph's Table and all the work and love that went into that wonderful celebration. God Bless, Polly Filpi

To the Stoops Family,

Thinking of you during this difficult and sad time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Came on the CPD with Charlie, in 1956. Worked together at the old 39th Dist. My sympathies to the Stoops family. Rest in peace dear friend.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.
