Charles Sturtevant

Many many years ago,Charlie came into our church on Randolph rd in Worcester. We called him the weeping saint because every time we prayed he would cry. He loved worship, loved fellowship, loved food and he loved the church people. He was an absolute servant to all the Pastors and staff always willing to help. He gave rides and picked up and dropped off at the airport, he went on both short term and long term missions trips, accompanying a group to Albania. Cant wait to see him again..

As a young boy I still remember excitedly waiting at Worcester Union Station for Charlie's train when he came home after serving as a Marine. He taught me how to ski during our frequent trips (just Charlie and me) to NH and VT, and then how to drive as I entered my teens. We were very close. He was my hero and I miss him very much.
