Still feel the loss.

It was my pleasure and honor to work with Charlie. As my first EMS Medical Director, and paramedic instructor, I learned so much from this gentleman. We sort of grew up in EMS together as I and 5 other medics started the system in late 1973. I have posted a copy of the patch I designed for the system. What a lovely summary for such a thoughtful and humble man. I had the pleasure of knowing Charles my whole life. He inspired me to follow my love of history, majoring in it in College and even writing a novel. He had the most wonderful library of old books where we would sit and share tales. What a remarkable journey you had- and for the many people you helped as a physician. Tunky was fortunate to snag you after date #2! Thank you Charles and rest in peace. Love, Michael
