Not sure what to say?

I worked next to Chick at Digital Equipment Corp, back in the 70's? We were both contract programmers, placed at DEC through different organizations. Never forgot Chick and his sense of humor. Lot of ribbing back and forth, but remember him fondly. So sorry to learn of his passing.

Tate and I -- and our children -- were saddened to hear of Chick's passing. We have many memories at Silver Lake. The Swain Cottage and Moore Cottage have built a legacy for generations. Our thoughts are with you. Missy (Moore) Armstrong

We got to know Chick and Pam at Silver Lake, Pennsylvania, where they would spend special times during each summer. Over meals, and a good wine, we would share laughs, stories, exaggerations, and complain about the level of the lake water. We loved Chick's bemused comments about current events (or non-events), and will miss him very much. Pat and Charlie Ingraham

Our love and condolences to Pam and the Family. For 50 years I have been coming to Silver Lake with the Randall Clan, and Chick was part of the bedrock of summer tennis from the time I, as a seventeen year-old, joined the men's tournament. After many years away, I was pleased to find Chick as friendly, interested and witty as ever, welcoming us back to the community. It's been a privilege to know Chick Swain. Chick, rest in peace.

Remember Chick on my Dad's Track team at Vestal, Great guy, great family, had the drug store around the corner. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. My deepest condolences.

Went To Vestal High School With Chick (Class Of 1959) ......He Was A Low Key Guy....A Really Good Athlete....With A Quiet Sense Of Humor.

We were good friends in high school but after graduation we all went our separate ways and I lost track of Chick after awhile. He was a great athletic and fun to be around. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
