Charles R. Szyman

My name is Susan Marchand. Dr. Szyman was my Dr. at the HFM Pain Clinic from 2014 till 2016. I liked him immediately. He was easygoing, caring, and I loved his sense of humor. I also sensed a deep unspoken sadness in him. Regardless of any legal problems, I was sorry to see him go. My attitude is, "We all fall short of the glory of the Lord." I was one of Charlies Professors during his Anesthesiology Residency in Chicago and I remember him very well. Bright, witty, great sense of humor but always the patient came first with Charlie. I am very saddened to hear of Charlie's early passing. Charlie, your earthly journey and troubles are over and I can say "Job well done my friend."

Dr. Szyman was my doctor for several years. I have never had a more kind and compassionate doctor I also considered a friend. He helped me through very rough physical and emotional times through empathy, support and an ever listening ear. He told me stories of his gardening and his other passions in life.
