Charles Tahaney Jr.

Chuck's passing is truly a loss. I first knew Chuck as we were both charter members of the Alpineers at St Peters. We would practice mountain climbing behind Dickinson HS. We both then became involved in ROTC. Chuck was commissioned Infantry, me Armor both chosen for Combat Arms. We both received the Purple Heart in Vietnam. We later linked up as Town Administrators (though Chuck was more successful than I). We walked many roads together and I looked forward to seeing him at our College...

Great memories of "Butchy" at our summer home on LBI. He used to take me surfing with him, out to miniature golf and out on the boat. I always knew I was in for a good time and lots of love when that black ' 57 Chevy pulled into the driveway. He'll be sorely mossed by many. R.I.P. Cuz

So sad to hear of the passing of Chuck! The few times we were with him we knew what a wonderful person he was! So friendly and welcoming to all! What a wonderful life he had filled with many accomplishments and loving family by his side! May he Rest In Peace and watch over your family and send love from heaven! Tony and Jean Ann Strillacci
