Not sure what to say?

Charles Taylor was known for that big smile he greeted people with whenever he was around. A man of distinction and class.

I know you would be enjoying watching your great-grandchildren play basketball. I also know, you know Barry passed, would surprise me if y'all came to claim his spirit. RIP dad.

Simone, I did not know that your mom and dad had passed. I have been away so long. I looked you and your brother Barry up online because I wanted to touch base and discovered this terrible news just a moment ago. The last time I saw your parents was when I came by the house to see you and your mom the same month your mom was moving to South Carolina back in 2002 if memory serves me correctly. Your parents were beautiful people and will be forever missed by me. Peace and blessings to...

one of our last conversations was.. you telling me, "don't take no crap from anyone, including me" I will keep that thought in my mind and heart for the rest of my life.. I love and miss you.

us in the parade.

I think of you often, and there are times, when I feel a message an aha moment. Those are the times, when I know we are connected, sometimes words were not spoken, but then there were times, when words weren't enough. I'm thankful, for our 806 mile journey, because it reinforced for me, both your love and concern. It also taught me, how a man should treat me. Thanks Dad. Rest Easy.

Us ! I miss you dad !

It's been nearly 4 months now, seems like yesterday the call came I didn't expect it to be the last, no words spoken on that day. Dad I'm thankful you didn't make to the machines and that sort of stuff, although you wished it all out survival GOD KNEW BETTER !

I just received the notice that Chuck passed. I loved Mrs. T and Chuck as my extended NBPA family. I always enjoyed their company. I travelled to the church for Mrs. T and I am sorry to send my late condolences to the family for Mr. Chuck Taylor, he will be missed.

Hi,

I am very sorry that I sending this condolence so late. However, I was not made aware Chuck's passing until yesterday(May 29, 2014). Chuck will surely be missed. I first met Chuck and his lovely wife sometime in the late 1970's at the National Black Police Convention.

With great sympathy,

Harry

Dear Simone and Family,

Chuck was a phenomenal man. The world will never be the same without him.

With deepest sympathy, my short time with Chuck was very special to me.
