While I only knew Charles for a relatively short time while he lived in Richmond, I have always remembered his kind and gentle spirit and bright smile that illuminated any room he was in. Here's wishing him a pleasant journey forward......

A long time friend. Charles was the sort of guy that, no matter how long it was since you saw him, it was just like yesterday. And so it was ... I saw him just before Christmas and he will be sorely missed.

To the family and friends community of Charles, May the depths of God's abundant love keep, strengthen, guide, and comfort you during this difficult portion of life's experience in his passing from among us. Charles was a much appreciated colleague and friend, even in the recent December 2023 MIT Gospel Choir Alums Video presentation that he greatly contributed to many ways. May he rest well from his labors and many thanks for the legacy he left us to remember!

The only thing that would ever keep me away from my cousin Charles´ funeral is my health! Too many good memories to share here. Love each and everyone of you.

Charles was one of my greatest friends in this life at MIT and I am looking forward to sharing his friendship again in the next.

Charles and I were classmates at SH Clarke and I. C. Norcom where we shared a mutual friend and Truxtun resident Dwight Andrews. We had so many great times together as members of the band, orchestra and me the school choirs. Music, dancing, singing and comedic comebacks bonded us. Charles was also a member of the Diplomats our senior year the brother organization to my Seniorettes and we knew how to have a good time!
